Abstract:
In one aspect of the invention, an organic light emitting diode device has a substrate, a cathode formed on the substrate, an anode spaced-apart from the cathode, a plurality of electroluminescent units stacked between the cathode and the anode, and a plurality of charge generation layers, each of which is formed between two adjacent electroluminescent units. Each electroluminescent unit has an electron-transport layer, an emission layer formed on the electron-transport layer, and a hole-transport layer formed on the emission layer. The electron-transport layer of the first electroluminescent unit is formed on the cathode, defining a first energy barrier, and the anode is formed on the hole-transport layer of the last electroluminescent unit, defining a second energy barrier. The first energy barrier is higher than the second energy barrier. The first electroluminescent unit has a lifetime longer than that of each of the rest electroluminescent units.
Abstract:
An illumination device including a substrate, a first conductive layer, a second conductive layer, a self-illuminating layer, and a first auxiliary conductive pattern layer is provided. The first conductive layer and the second conductive layer are disposed on the substrate. The self-illuminating layer is located between the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer to define an illumination region on the substrate. The first auxiliary conductive pattern layer is in contact with the first conductive layer and has an impedance smaller than that of the first conductive layer. A ratio of a perimeter (um) of the first auxiliary conductive pattern layer occupied in the illumination region to an area (um2) of the illumination region is greater than about 0 and smaller than or equal to about 0.0262 (1/um).
Abstract:
A white color light source of an organic light emitting diode is provided and is suitable for irradiating on plants. The white color light source includes a first color light and a second color light. A peak in the frequency spectrum of the first color light is within a first wavelength range. A peak in the frequency spectrum of the second color light is within a second wavelength range. The white color light source is at least formed by mixing the first color light and the second color light, wherein an intensity of a frequency spectrum of a wavelength range from 520 nm to 580 nm is substantially equal to or less than 20% of a total intensity of a frequency spectrum of the white color light source.
Abstract:
A method for forming organic layers of electronic devices by contact printing is disclosed, which comprises: (A) providing a substrate, which has an electrode formed thereon; (B) coating an organic material ink onto a mold; (C) applying the ink-coated mold onto the substrate, to transfer the organic material ink onto the electrode of the substrate and then to form an organic layer; and (D) forming another electrode on the organic layer. In addition, after the step (C) is completed, the steps (B) to (C) can be repeated once or several times to form series of organic layers, if needed.
Abstract:
A white organic light electroluminescence device includes a first light emitting unit, a second light emitting unit and a connecting layer between the first light emitting unit and the second light emitting unit. The connecting layer electrically connects the first light emitting unit and the second light emitting unit in series. The first light emitting unit includes a first electrode layer, a first light emitting layer on first electrode layer, and an intrinsic layer. The first light emitting layer has a first blue light emitting layer and a red light emitting layer, and the intrinsic layer is between the first blue light emitting layer and the red light emitting layer. The second light emitting unit includes a second light emitting layer and a second electrode layer on the second light emitting layer. The second light emitting layer has a second blue light emitting layer and a green light emitting layer.
