    摘要: Techniques for recording and replay of a live conference while still attending the live conference are described. A conferencing system includes a user interface generator, a live conference processing module, and a replay processing module. The user interface generator is configured to generate a user interface that includes a replay control panel and one or more output panels. The live conference processing module is configured to extract information included in received conferencing data that is associated with one or more conferencing modalities, and to display the information in the one or more output panels in a live manner (e.g., as a live conference). The replay processing module is configured to enable information associated with the one or more conferencing modalities corresponding to a time of the conference session prior to live to be presented at a desired rate, possibly different from the real-time rate, if a replay mode is selected in the replay control panel.

    摘要: An identification of a multi-component development artifact to be shared is obtained in a development environment. A remote receiver with whom to share components of the artifact is designated. Components of the artifact are shared with the remote receiver by automatically locating the components and sending the located components in a package with associated type descriptions. After the package is received, a check for conflicts is made, and acceptable components are merged into the local development environment.

    摘要: A system and process for providing a network and computer-based integrated development environment is presented that provides collaboration and information sharing for development project team members. Generally, this is accomplished by integrating a presence and activity awareness information module, a collaboration tools module, and a user interface into a single environment that is accessible over a distributed network and serves as a virtual development complex. The information module continuously collects, monitors and analyzes information about the presence of each team member and their activity in the project. The tools module provides a wide range of facilities for synchronous and asynchronous collaboration and information sharing between team members. Thus, all team members who use the virtual complex for their development work on the project can collaborate and interactively share required information regardless of their geographic and/or temporal disparity, and without having to leave the virtual development complex.

The technique detects potential conflicts and provides facilities that allow programmers to work collaboratively to resolve the conflicts as they occur. In addition, in-place audio/video, text chat and application sharing is provided. This allows communication sessions to be conducted within the programming environment.

The framework provides persistence and sharing mechanisms for arbitrary application-defined objects. The sharing mechanism is coupled with a consistency mechanism that keeps client states consistent even when users perform conflicting operations. This framework is application-independent in that the persistence, sharing between clients and maintaining a consistent state among the clients is accomplished without the need for specific knowledge of the design of the web application. Thus, web developers can focus on the logic of the application and the UI, instead of spending time designing and implementing collaborative capabilities.
