    摘要： A multi-media broadcasting system that links a user profiles associated with a first user with a second user profile associated with a second user, where the first and second user profiles each comprise an indication of an interest common to the first and second users. The user profiles allow a user to customize a viewing experience via the broadcasting system. In addition, the system detects a content update to the first user profile, wherein the content update is associated with a content item that comprises content having a characteristic within the interest common to the first and second users. Furthermore, the system notifies the second user of the content update if the second user profile has not been updated with the content update.

    摘要： A projection display apparatus including a display screen, one or more projectors operably connected to a visual source and mounted, in an embodiment, via a projector mount, and an electronic control unit operably coupled to the projectors, is provided for displaying visual content free of a screen door effect. The projectors generate and render a front projection and/or a rear projection of visual content received from the visual source to the display screen with a field of view defined by a size of the display screen. The electronic control unit controls user input, detects and projects the visual content in focus on the display screen via the projectors, performs quality adjustment of the visual content, defines an area of the visual content to project on the display screen with the defined field of view, and in an embodiment, tracks movement of a user's head.

A user may view the digital content, metadata, and information indicating the state of the digital content using the display means provided for the digital content management device. A plurality of communication interfaces is provided on the digital content management device to interface with a plurality of local and remote devices. The digital content management device may be used to access and track the digital content on the plurality of local and remote devices. Further, a network interface is provided on the digital content management device to access a plurality of public and private networks and their associated digital content storage devices. In order to enable a user to edit, organize, share, discover, preserve, and manage the digital content, a user interface is provided for the digital content management device.

    摘要： A personal video recorder (PVR) enables delivery of audio-visual content and associated metadata to storage devices. The PVR is configured to access a plurality of services using a plurality of storage modules. Each storage module is dedicated to a single designated content provider. One or more of the storage modules are removably coupled to the PVR. A disconnected storage module can be reconnected to another PVR different from the PVR from which the storage module was disconnected. Where authorization is required to access content stored on the storage module, authentication is performed each time the removable storage module is reconnected to a PVR.
