摘要: A pumping unit having a pump chamber with a rotor mounted in a rotatable manner within the chamber. The pumping chamber is formed by a circumferential wall and two end walls. The circumferential wall is formed on an annular collar of a pump part and has on its inner surface a track on which sealing bodies of a rotor roll. To avoid deformation of the pump part by hydraulic forces or by pressing-in forces, ribs are arranged on the outer surface of the circumferential wall which extend away from the pump chamber. A shoulder is arranged on the side of the end wall which is directed away from the pump chamber. The shoulder is connected by a press fit to the pump housing and has thin walls so that pressing forces do not result in any deformation to the end wall of the pump chamber.

摘要: Known pumping devices have a connection lid, a connection cap slipped over the connection lid, a hollow chamber formed between the connection lid and the connection cap, and electrical connections that extend through the connection cap into the hollow chamber. It is disadvantageous that when fuels containing water are being pumped, such as ethanol, corrosion can occur at the electrical connections and at the uninsulated cable segments that are exposed to fuel near the electrical connections, for instance at the electrical coils or flexible cables of the carbon brushes, and in the final analysis this leads to an interruption in the electrical contact and thus to failure of the pumping device. In the electrical device of the invention, corrosion of the electrical connections and of the electrical components adjoining them upstream and downstream is avoided entirely or at least greatly diminished. According to the invention, the electrical connections are each provided in separate chambers of the hollow chamber.

摘要: A feed unit for a fuel pup includes a rotor eccentrically mounted in a pump chamber, and a plurality of grooves disposed on the periphery of the rotor. The grooves receive a plurality of sealing bodies which extend from within the grooves to an annular wall of the pump chamber embodied as a curved track. A gap is defined between the rotor and the curved track and is subdivided into gap spaces that are sealed from each other by the sealing bodies, which are configured as elastic spring elements.

摘要: A pumping unit having a pump chamber in which a rotor is mounted in a rotatable manner, and which is formed by a circumferential wall and two end walls, is already known. The circumferential wall is formed on an annular collar of a pump part and, on the inside, forms a track on which sealing bodies of a rotor roll. The track of the pump chamber is subjected to high compressive loading which, if the pump part is made of plastic, may result in the track rupturing. In the case of the pumping unit according to the invention, the pump part is improved in respect of strength and service life. Deformation of the pump part by hydraulic forces or by pressing-in forces is avoided. The invention provides that ribs are arranged on the outside of the circumferential wall, the outside being directed away from the pump chamber, or that arranged on that side of the end wall which is directed away from the pump chamber is at least one shoulder which is connected in a force-fitting manner, by means of a press fit, to the pump housing and is designed with thin walls to the extent where the pressing forces do not result in any deformation to the end wall of the pump chamber.
