摘要: A compressor (20) has a case (22) and a crankshaft (38). The case has a number of cylinders (30-32). For each of the cylinders, the compressor includes a piston (34) mounted for reciprocal movement at least partially within the cylinder. A connecting rod (36) couples each piston to the crankshaft. A pin (44) couples each connecting rod to the associated piston. Each pin has first (52) and second (53) end portions mounted to first (56) and second (57) receiving portions of the associated piston and a central portion (48) engaging the associated connecting rod. For each of the pistons a pair of first and second at least partially non-metallic plugs have respective stems received in the pin first and second end portions and respective heads facing a wall surface of the associated cylinder.

摘要: A disposable metering pump is made of plastic for products having solid fractions. The disposable metering pump has two rotors (10) which are coupled to each other by means of gears (11), can be driven in opposite directions, and are supported in a pump housing (5). Each rotor (10) has a rotor shaft, the rotor shaft ends (15) of which are supported in the walls of the pump housing (5). Each rotor (10) has two rotor blade walls (13), which are arranged diametrically opposite on the rotor shaft. One partially cylindrical rotor blade shoe (14) is formed at each of the peripheral ends of the rotor blade walls. The rotor blade shoes (14) lie against the cylindrical inner wall regions of the pump housing (5) in a sliding and sealing manner.

摘要: A pump includes a housings and a rotor capable of rotating within the housing. The rotor engages an interior surface of the housing in use, with at least two radially-inward shaped surfaces on the rotor forming respective chambers with the interior surface. In use, the chambers transport fluid from an inlet in the housing to an outlet in the housing as the rotor rotates. A seal provided between the inlet and the outlet will engage each of the shaped surfaces to prevent fluid passing from the outlet to the inlet as each shaped surface travels from the outlet to the inlet. The rotor includes a surface portion extending axially and circumferentially between respective edges of the shaped surfaces. On planes normal to an axis of rotation of the rotor, the surface portion of the rotor has a greater curvature than that of the interior surface of the housing.

摘要: A rotary action, self-priming positive displacement constant flow high capacity fluid pump is described. None of the pump parts touch in the pump chamber to minimize pump wear allowing for extended pump life. Since there are no touching parts in the pump chamber, the pump can be operated dry without the pump liquid being present without damage to the pump. The pump may be operated either clockwise or counter-clockwise without loss of positive displacement or reduction in fluids input or output. Due to the design of the pump, the pump is inherently low-maintenance and is highly resistant to clogging by debris and the like. Fluid pressure relief sections are provided by carving out of the inside portions of the housing structure to which the ends of the shaft are mounted to vary or improved pump performance.

The rotor blade walls (13) have concave recesses on both sides between the rotor shafts (12) and the rotor blade shoes (14), in each of which recesses an end edge of a rotor blade shoe of the adjacent rotor can mesh. The shaping of the rotor blade shoes and of the recesses is optimized with regard to minimal product residues.

摘要: A pump assembly comprises an inlet (10) having an open end, an outlet (12) having an open end and a housing (11) having an inlet aperture (31) in fluid connection with the inlet (10) and an outlet aperture (32) in fluid connection with the outlet (12). A rotor (37) is located within the housing (11) and shaped to form with an interior surface of the housing at least one chamber (28a, 28b) that on rotation of the rotor (37) conveys fluid from the inlet aperture (31) to the outlet aperture (32). The housing (11) carries a seal (24) located in the inlet (10) and urged into contact with the rotor (37) to prevent the passage of fluid past the rotor (37) from the outlet (12) to the inlet (10). The inlet (10) and the outlet (12) have respective centre lines that are parallel to one another and normal to the axis of the rotor (37). The outlet (12) forms a guide path for linear movement of a mould core (52) for forming the outlet (12) and the outlet opening (32) and the outlet aperture (32) being so orientated that the direction of opening of the outlet aperture (32) does not face away from the open end of the outlet (12). This allows the outlet (12) and the outlet opening (32) to be formed using a single simple mould core (52) travelling in a linear path.

摘要: A pump comprises a housing (10) and a rotor (11) that rotates in the housing. The housing (10) has a fluid inlet (14) and a fluid outlet (15). The rotor (11) includes two shaped surface (21, 22; 50a, 50b, 50c) radially inwardly of the housing (10) and forming with the interior surface of the housing respective chambers (23, 24; 51a, 51b, 51c) for conveying fluid from the inlet (14) to the outlet (15) on rotation of the rotor (11). A seal (12; 56) is provided between the outlet (15) and the inlet to engage the shaped surfaces (23, 24; 50a, 50b, 50c)) to prevent the passage of fluid from the outlet (15) to the inlet (14) as each shaped surface (23, 24; 50a, 50b, 50c) travels from the outlet (15) to the inlet (14). The shape of the surfaces (21, 22; 50a, 50b, 50c) provides an optimised volume for the chambers (23, 24; 51a, 51b, 51c) and the seal (12; 56) is urged into contact with the rotor (11) by spring arrangements (13, 39, 41, 59) that provide an even force along the axial length of surfaces (21, 22).
