Abstract: A clip for securing together a stack of sheets, the stack having a height, or thickness, which can vary over an extended range, the clip having opposed clamping legs spaced apart and extending parallel to one another, a web interconnecting the clamping legs at corresponding ends of the clamping legs, and resiliently deflectable undulations in the web allowing relative displacement of the clamping legs away from one another to receive the stack between the clamping legs and biasing the clamping legs toward one another with a biasing force sufficient to secure the stack, while the clamping legs remain parallel to one another.

Abstract: A window lock for securing a first window member against unauthorized movement relative to a second window member, the window lock including a bolt mounted for sliding movement in a drum journaled for rotation on a hub throughout an arc of rotation, the hub being affixed to the first window member and the bolt carrying a key and a latch engaged with a cavity in a housing affixed to the second window member throughout the arc of rotation of the drum when the bolt is advanced, the hub having a recess oriented for receiving the key of the bolt only when the bolt is located at a predetermined angular position within the arc of rotation where the key is registered with the recess to permit retraction of the bolt and corresponding retraction of the latch from the cavity, the orientation of the recess being masked from unauthorized view such that visual verification of the predetermined angular position of the bolt is restricted to an authorized operator.

Abstract: A document holder has a tray for holding documents in the form of a stack of individual sheets, the tray being movable between a generally horizontal orientation in which the sheets are placed and retained in an organized stack, and a generally vertical orientation in which the sheets are presented for visual scanning and review, the document holder including restraining bars biased by gravity into position over the sheets in response to placement of the tray in the generally vertical orientation to maintain the stack of sheets in the tray during scanning and review, and into position away from the stack in response to placement of the tray in the generally horizontal orientation to enable access to the tray for easing placement of the sheets into the tray and removal of the sheets from the tray.
