    摘要: An object is to realize acoustic noise reduction under a wide range of rotating speeds and together with PWM control. A signal (VCTL1) is generated as a trapezoidal wave repeatedly rising and falling in each given electrical angle section extending before and after the current-supply pattern is switched in accordance with the electrical angle of a rotor of a motor, and a signal (VCTL2) is generated in the opposite phase. A control circuit (22) appropriately selects among the signals (VCTL1 and VCTL2) and a given signal (SCTL) and inputs them to comparators (59 to 61). The comparators (59 to 61) compare the input signals with a carrier signal (B6) provided as a triangular wave. Switch elements for controlling the current-supply pattern to the motor turn on/off on the basis of output signals (C1 to C6) from the comparators (59 to 61). As a result, the current-supply pattern is switched softly by PWM control in the electrical angle section mentioned above.

    摘要: It is an object to enable efficient driving even if the rotation speed is variable in a driving circuit for a DC brushless motor having no position detection. The counterelectromotive force of the motor M is received by the comparators (201-203) and the trigger signals (G1 and G2) are outputted with 120.degree. cycle in synchronization with the rotation. Two oscillation signals (N1 and N2) in synchronization with the rotation of the motor are generated therefrom and a serial control signal (CNT) which becomes active/inactive for every 30.degree. is further produced in the 30.degree. signal operation circuit (104). The control signal (CNT) is serial/parallel converted into conversion control signals (L1-L3) in the 180.degree. signal conversion circuit (105). The 120.degree. switching circuit (1116) further converts them into driving signals (K1-K6) and applies them to the current control portion (300). The motor is driven by a signal delayed by a rotation angle of 30.degree. not according to the number of rotation of the motor.

    摘要: Comparators receiving reference voltages are provided. An output signal from a differential amplifier is applied to these comparators. Here, the relationship of Vref1>Vref2>Vref3>Vref4>Vref5>Vbias>Vref6>Vref7>Vref8>Vref9>Vref10 is established. The output signals from the comparators are applied to a data latch/threshold level select circuit. The select circuit retains the maximum peak level of the prior comparison by the comparators, and retains the minimum peak value of the prior comparison by the comparators. The select circuit selects the output signal of the comparator of one lower level than the comparator that detects the maximum peak level at the prior comparison to supply the selected signal to a RS flip-flop circuit, and selects the output signal of the comparator of one higher level than the comparator that detects the minimum peak level at the prior comparison to supply the selected signal to the RS flip-flop circuit. The RS flip-flop circuit outputs a detection signal of a VISS signal in response to these select signals. As a result, a VISS signal detection circuit can reliably detect only the VISS signal without detecting the erase noise.

    摘要: A circuit for driving a three-phase brushless DC motor (301) includes a neutral point feedback circuit (201) which operates a three-phase output circuit (202) so that a neutral point potential (V.sub.C) of the motor (301) is maintained at a predetermined potential, and a neutral point potential comparison circuit (500) which determines whether or not the neutral point potential (V.sub.C) is between reference potentials (V.sub.ref1, V.sub.ref2). If the neutral point potential (V.sub.C) is not between the reference potentials (V.sub.ref1, V.sub.ref2), a switch shutoff signal (SC) is activated to turn off a switch (106), so that a current (I.sub.C) is not provided to the neutral point feedback circuit (201). Accordingly, the neutral point feedback circuit (201) stops flowing currents (I.sub.A, I.sub.B) to the three-phase output circuit (202) which in turn stops driving the motor (301). The circuit for driving the motor (301) is prevented from being broken down if a short circuit occurs in the motor (301).
