摘要: A fan includes a central hub defining an inlet, a motor positioned within the central hub, and an impeller positioned within the central hub. The impeller is operable to be rotated by the motor to generate air movement. The fan also includes a nozzle defining a channel that receives the airflow from the central hub. The nozzle also defines an outlet in communication with the channel to direct air out of the nozzle. The fan further includes a plurality of conduits connecting the nozzle to the central hub to direct air from the central hub to the channel and through the outlet of the nozzle. The nozzle defines a projection aligned with each conduit to divide air movement through the nozzle.

摘要: A handheld vacuum cleaner (10) includes a main body (22), a handle (98), and a receptacle (150) having an inlet (154). The handheld vacuum cleaner also includes a motor assembly (114) positioned within the main body, a dirty air inlet (14) positioned at a front of the handheld vacuum cleaner, a cyclonic chamber (30) in fluid communication with the dirty air inlet and the motor assembly, and a battery (138) including a first side surface (142) and a second side surface (146) opposite the first side surface. The battery is configured to be selectively received within the receptacle through the inlet. When the battery is positioned within the receptacle, each of the first side surface and the second side surface are at least 25 percent exposed through apertures at the respective first and second lateral sides (58, 62) of the main body such that the first and second side surfaces are graspable by a user.

摘要: A surface cleaning apparatus is described including a housing supporting a suction source, a dirt collection container, and a cyclonic separation device for separating dirt from the airflow passing through the apparatus. The apparatus further includes a ducting member having an inlet in communication with an outlet from the cyclonic separation device and an outlet in communication with a passage leading to the suction source. The ducting member is removably connected to the housing or the dirt collection container and is rotatably moveable between locked and unlocked positions, and rotational movement of the ducting member from its unlocked position to its locked position aligns the outlet of the ducting member with the passage leading to the suction source.

摘要: Aspects of the present invention relate to a recovery tank support structure for a surface cleaning device such as an extractor. The support structure partially encircles and supports the recovery tank removably mounted to a base in order to prevent any unwanted movement of the tank or its contents during operation of the extractor. The support structure creates a void for housing the recovery tank, wherein a locking mechanism may be employed to engage the recovery tank and secure it in position. An upper portion having a handle for propelling the extractor is pivotable about the base independent of the support structure thereby allowing a user access to a wide range of pivoting motion and maneuverability during extractor operation.

摘要: A tool for a surface cleaning apparatus, including a floor head including a floor facing surface which defines an inlet for receiving dirt-laden air, which inlet is generally positioned in a first plane P; a passage for carrying dirt-laden air from the floor head to the apparatus; a connecting member for connecting the tool to a surface cleaning apparatus, wherein the floor head and connecting member are pivotally connected about an axis A; and a blocking device for inhibiting pivotal movement of the connecting member about axis A. The blocking device is moveable to a blocking condition in which pivotal movement of the connecting member downwardly outside of a pre-determined use condition is inhibited.

摘要: A floor cleaner including a vacuum source and a base movable over a surface to be cleaned. The base includes a front side, a back side opposite the front side, a lower end configured to be adjacent the surface to be cleaned, a suction inlet adjacent the front side and adjacent the lower end of the base and in fluid communication with the vacuum source, a brushroll rotatable about a brushroll axis, a first squeegee that extends from the lower end between the suction inlet and the back side of the base, the first squeegee configured to contact the surface to be cleaned. The base further includes a second squeegee that contacts the brushroll and the brushroll axis is between the lower end of the base and the second squeegee.

摘要: A vacuum cleaner includes a housing having a dust inlet and a first latch. The first latch is moveable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The vacuum cleaner also includes a second latch moveable between a locked position and an unlocked position, and a spring pressing the second latch to the locked position. The vacuum cleaner also includes a dust bin securable on the housing with the first latch and the second latch. When the dust bin is being installed onto the housing, the second latch is moved from the locked position to the unlocked position until the spring presses the second latch back to the locked position. The dust bin is secured on the housing when the dust bin is installed on the housing, the first latch is in the locked position, and the second latch is in the locked position. The dust bin is removable from the housing when the dust bin is installed on the housing, the first latch is in the unlocked position, and the second latch is in the locked position.
