The one or more network devices may receive a short message service (SMS) message intended for an access terminal, embed the SMS message into a data message, determine whether a data session exists with the access terminal, the data session occurring over a data network, transmit the data message to the access terminal via the data network when the data session exists, and transmit the SMS message via a voice network when the data session does not exist.

    摘要： An exemplary method includes generating an access record associated with a data session provided by at least one access layer element over an access network, generating an application record associated with an application provided by at least one application layer element over the access network, transmitting data representative of a correlation parameter associated with application from the at least one application layer element to the at least one access layer element via an inter-layer liaison subsystem, and inserting the correlation parameter associated with application and received from the at least one application layer element via the inter-layer liaison subsystem in the access record. In some examples, the method further includes correlating the access record and the application record based on the correlation parameter associated with the application. Other exemplary inter-layer parameter liaison methods and systems are also disclosed.

    摘要： A metallurgical ladle, and more particularly the bottom of the ladle or a ladle block in the bottom of the ladle, have an outlet through which the molten metal can drain. The ladle bottom contains an open-end channel bounded by at least one wall with a major dimension perpendicular to a line joining the center of the outlet entrance to the center of the wall. In selected configurations, opposing faces of the walls bounding the open-end channel are convex in the horizontal plane and concave in the horizontal plane, respectively.
