摘要： Disclosed herein is an anticancer composition, comprising obovatol, represented by the following Chemical Formula 1, obovatal, represented by the following Chemical Formula 2, and/or pharmaceutical salts thereof. The composition exhibits the activity of inhibiting the growth of cancer cells and suppressing the expression and activity of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), and thus can be useful for the prophylaxis and treatment of cancer as well as for the inhibition of cancer metastasis.
