Abstract: The electric braking device is provided with: a pressing member, which has a thread portion with either an internal thread or an external thread and which applies a pressing force on a frictional member; a shaft member, which is rotated by an electric motor and is threadedly engaged with the thread portion; a first spherical surface member, which is separated from the shaft member, being capable of rotating relative to the shaft member around the axis of rotation of the shaft member, and the end surface of which is a spherical surface; and a second spherical surface member, which is in sliding contact with the spherical surface of the first spherical surface member, receives the reaction force of the pressing force, and is restrained from rotating with respect to the axis of rotation of the shaft member.

Abstract: An electric brake control apparatus includes: a clamping force acquisition unit configured to acquire a clamping force generated by moving a piston toward a pad through rotation of a motor; a lower-limit clamping force acquisition unit configured to acquire a minimum value of the clamping force required to maintain a stopped state of the rotor; an upper-limit clamping force acquisition unit configured to acquire a maximum value of the clamping force to move the piston away from the pad through a power of a power supply while maintaining the stopped state of the rotor, based on a state of a power supply; and a clamping force control unit configured to control the motor such that the clamping force is confined between the minimum value and the maximum value.

Abstract: There is provided an electric braking device for a vehicle, which includes a brake caliper which is provided to a wheel, a pressing member which is provided to the brake caliper and is driven to press a friction member to a rotary member fixed to the wheel, an electric motor which is a power source to drive the pressing member, an electric power/signal line which supplies electric power to the electric motor or allows a first electric circuit provided in a vehicle body to communicate with a second electric circuit provided in the brake caliper, and a connector which relays the electric power line. The connector includes a terminal joining portion which joins one terminal and another terminal to each other, and the one terminal and the another terminal are made of metal. The terminal joining portion is positioned inside the brake caliper.
