    Abstract: Vector object path segment editing techniques are described that retain edibility of a path while supporting editing of a segment included within the path, individually and separately, without editing other segments of path. A vector object editing module first retrieves information on segments included in a path of a vector object. The vector object editing module then renders a selected segment separately from an adjacent segment based on the selected segment model. An editing operation is then applied to the selected segment as specified via the user interface, e.g., to change color, width, or other display characteristic. The vector object editing module then generates a joint between the edited segment and the adjacent segment to provide a transition between the segments that mimics inclusion as a single path that contains those segments.

    Abstract: A visual lens system is described that identifies, automatically and without user intervention, digital tool parameters for achieving a visual appearance of an image region in raster image data. To do so, the visual lens system processes raster image data using a tool region detection network trained to output a mask indicating whether the digital tool is useable to achieve a visual appearance of each pixel in the raster image data. The mask is then processed by a tool parameter estimation network trained to generate a probability distribution indicating an estimation of discrete parameter configurations applicable to the digital tool to achieve the visual appearance. The visual lens system generates an image tool description for the parameter configuration and incorporates the image tool description into an interactive image for the raster image data. The image tool description enables transfer of the digital tool parameter configuration to different image data.

    Abstract: An identifier based glyph search is described. In one or more embodiments, a search input is analyzed in a digital medium environment to generate search tokens and locate a font. The search tokens are compared to identifiers within the font, and corresponding identifiers are used to locate and retrieve particular glyphs from within the font. The retrieved glyphs are ordered and configured for output or display. The resulting glyph results include a variety of glyphs that are related to the search input, and may provide alternative related glyphs even where a user knows an exact identifier associated with a glyph. This technique may be iterated to accommodate changing search inputs and allows users to easily find desired glyphs with minimal effort and without the need for specialized knowledge regarding the identifiers of particular glyphs.
