    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide to angle adjustment systems using one or more spring arrangements. In certain aspects, an angle adjustment system comprises a component and a first spring arrangement coupled to the component, wherein the first spring arrangement comprises at least three spring elements. Further, the first spring arrangement is configured to allow the component to rotate around a first axis of rotation and prevent a first translational movement of the component with respect to the first axis of rotation.

    Abstract: A digital ocular system includes a housing, an eye piece having a lens assembly. A display screen, a proximity sensor, and a processor. The lens assembly includes a front lens through which a user of the digital ocular system views a target object. The display screen is positioned within the housing cavity. The proximity sensor, which is connected to the housing, detects when user is within a predetermined standoff distance of the front lens, and outputs an electronic sensor signal when the user is outside of the predetermined standoff distance, i.e., not detected. The processor is configured to adjust an output state of the display screen via a display control signal in response to the electronic sensor signal.
