Abstract: A method and/or system generates a video of teeth of an individual over time. In one example, images comprising teeth of an individual are received, wherein the images are arranged in a sequence and each image is associated with a different stage of treatment of the teeth. One or more of the images are modified and/or replaced to align the images to one another. One or more synthetic images are generated, wherein each synthetic image is generated based on a pair of sequential images in the sequence and is an intermediate image that comprises an intermediate state of the teeth between a first state of a first image of the pair of sequential images and a second state of a second image of the pair of sequential images. A video is then generated that comprises the images and the one or more synthetic images.

Abstract: A method includes obtaining first data of a dental arch having one or more first properties. The method further includes processing the first data using one or more trained machine learning models. The one or more trained machine learning models generate a dimensionally reduced representation of the dental arch based on the first data. The one or more trained machine learning models generate second data of the dental arch that has one or more second properties. The method further includes obtaining, from the one or more trained machine learning models, the second data of the dental arch that has the one or more second properties. The second data is based on the dimensionally reduced representation. The one or more second properties are different from the one or more first properties. The method further includes causing a representation of the dental arch to be displayed based on the second data.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosed technology provide solutions of simulating patient treatment outcomes and in particular, for estimating treatment parameters that can be optimally modified to achieve a desired treatment outcome. In some aspects, a process of the disclosed technology includes steps for receiving patient data, receiving a plurality of treatment parameters, and generating an output state of the patient based on the initial state of the patient and the treatment goal for the patient.
