    Abstract: An antenna system with a switchable horizontal half-power beamwidth includes: a ground plane module including rows of patch groups that jointly form a ground plane; an antenna unit spaced apart from the ground plane by an interval; and a control module that can receive at least one beam control message. Each two adjacent rows of the patch groups are provided therebetween with at least one switching unit. The control module can bring each of the at least one switching unit to be turned on or turned off according to contents of the at least one beam control message, so as to adjust the electrical properties of the ground plane and change the horizontal half-power beamwidth of the antenna unit. Accordingly, the antenna system has a relatively low-profile spatial property, and requires no extra mechanism design for horizontal half-power beamwidth adjustment and switching based on practical needs.

    Abstract: A low-profile dual-band high-isolation antenna module is fixed on a substrate and includes two high-frequency antennas and two low-frequency antennas located on two opposite sides of the substrate respectively. The bottom ends of the low-frequency antennas are connected to a grounding of the substrate. A decoupling element is disposed between the high-frequency antennas and the low-frequency antennas. The top end of each high-frequency antenna forms a bent portion, and so does the top end of each low-frequency antenna. The decoupling element has two ends extending to positions corresponding respectively to the low-frequency antennas but is not in contact with the low-frequency antennas or the high-frequency antennas. The bottom end of the decoupling element is connected to the grounding through at least one metal strip. The bent portions effectively reduce the space occupied by the antennas while the decoupling element provides isolation between the antennas.

    Abstract: A multiband antenna includes a first radiator, a feed element, a first ground element, a second radiator, a connecting element, and a second ground element, wherein the first radiator is made of a metal plate. The feed element is electrically connected to the first radiator and is adapted to feed a signal. The first ground element is electrically connected to the first radiator. The second radiator is made of a metal plate and surrounds an outer side of the first radiator, wherein the first radiator and the second radiator are spaced by an interval. The connecting element is electrically connected to the first radiator and the second radiator. The second ground element is electrically connected to the second radiator. In this way, the multiband antenna is suitable for transmitting signals in multiple frequency bands.
