Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to providing text prediction. In one example process, a keyboard comprising a plurality of keys is provided. Each key of the plurality of keys is configured to register a respective character of a symbolic system on a displayed user interface. User input corresponding to one or more words is received via the keyboard. The process determines a plurality of candidate predicted words based on the one or more words. A candidate predicted word of the plurality of candidate predicted words is displayed on a key of the plurality of keys, where the key is configured to register a character of the symbolic system on the user interface. The candidate predicted word begins with the character of the symbolic system.
