Abstract: A head-mounted device may include optical assemblies for presenting images to a user. Each optical assembly may have a support with first and second portions that move relative to each other. A motor in each optical assembly may move the second portion of that optical assembly relative to the first portion of that optical assembly. The optical assemblies may each have guide rods along which the second portion of the optical assembly slides relative to the first portion. A lens in each optical assembly may be used to convey an image from a display in the optical assembly to an eye box for viewing by a user. The lens and display may be mounted to the second portion. Face bumpers may be mounted to the first portion. To adjust eye relief, the motor of each optical assembly may move the second portion relative to the first portion.

Abstract: A band for a wearable device includes a first strap having a magnetic insert defining an array of holes, and a second strap having a magnetic protrusion configured to be at least partially disposed in a respective hole of the array of holes and to magnetically couple to the magnetic insert. A method of manufacturing a magnetic strap for a wearable device includes disposing a magnetizable insert between a first layer and a second layer, and coupling the first layer to the second layer such that the magnetizable insert is retained between the first layer and the second layer. Abstract: An attachment strap for a wearable electronic device is disclosed. The attachment strap attaches the wearable electronic device to a wearer, and may attach to a wrist of a wearer. The attachment strap includes two bands which attach to a clasp. The clasp operates in an open and closed configuration. When in the closed configuration, the clasp may not present a visible indication of its mechanism.
