Abstract: The present invention relates to a sinter powder (SP) comprising 59.5% to 99.85% by weight of at least one thermoplastic polyurethane (A), 0.05% to 0.5% by weight of at least one flow agent (B), 0.1% to 5% by weight of at least one organic additive (C), 0% to 5% by weight of at least one further additive (D) and 0% to 30% by weight of at least one reinforcer (E), based in each case on the sum total of the percentages by weight (A), (B), (C), (D) and (E). The present invention further relates to a method of producing a shaped body by sintering the sinter powder (SP), to a shaped body obtainable by the method of the invention, and to the use of at least one flow agent (B) and at least one organic additive (C) in a sinter powder (SP) to improve the flowability and coalescence of the sinter powder (SP). The present invention further relates to the use of the sinter powder (SP) in a sintering method, and to a method of producing the sinter powder (SP).

Abstract: A molded article (M) contains a molded article (M-1) made of a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE-1) and a foamed pellet material made of a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE-2). The molded article (M-1) has a softening temperature TS (TPE-1) that deviates by no more than 25° C. from the processing temperature TP (TPE-2) of the thermoplastic elastomer (TPE-2). The softening temperature is determined by TMA in accordance with ISO 11359-3:2014. A process can be used for producing the molded article. The molded article can be used for application in the sports, industry, medicine, sports medicine, safety, automotive and consumer goods field, especially as a shoe sole, a part of a shoe sole, a bicycle saddle, a cushioning, a mattress, an underlay, a grip, a protective film, or a component in automobile interiors and exteriors.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for producing a polyurethane, comprising the reaction of a polyol composition (PZ) comprising a polyol (P1) with a polyisocyanate composition (PIZ-1) comprising a polyisocyanate (I1) to obtain a hydroxyl-terminated prepolymer (PP1) and the reaction of the prepolymer (PP1) obtained with a polyisocyanate composition (PIZ-2) comprising a polyisocyanate (I2) and at least one chain extender (K1) to obtain a polyurethane (PU1), wherein the molar ratio of the OH groups in the components of the polyol composition (PZ) to the isocyanate groups in the components of the polyisocyanate composition (PIZ-1) in the reaction in step (i) is in the range from 1.3:1 to 10:1. The present invention further relates to polyurethanes obtainable or obtained by such a process, and to the use of the polyurethanes for production of shaped bodies, adhesives, coatings, hoses, films, nonwoven articles or fibers.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for producing a thermoplastic polyurethane, comprising the provision of a composition Z(W) comprising at least one carbodiimide selected from the group consisting of monomeric aliphatic carbodiimides, oligomeric aliphatic carbodiimides, polymeric aliphatic carbodiimides, monomeric aromatic carbodiimides, oligomeric aromatic carbodiimides and polymeric aromatic carbodiimides, and at least one ester selected from the group consisting of citric acid esters, acetyl citric acid esters, phthalic acid esters, benzoic acid esters, adipic acid esters, hydrogenated phthalic acid esters and phosphoric acid esters; and the subsequent addition of the composition Z(W) to a thermoplastic polyurethane or a reaction mixture for producing a thermoplastic polyurethane. Further, the present invention relates to a thermoplastic polyurethane obtainable or obtained by a process according to the invention and to the use of the composition Z(W) as plasticizer for thermoplastic polyurethanes. The present invention also relates to moldings comprising a thermoplastic polyurethane according to the invention.
