摘要: The present invention relates to a powder coating composition comprising at least one fluoropolymer resin, at least one polyester resin, and an isocyanate crosslinking agent; wherein the molar ratio of isocyanate groups of the isocyanate crosslinking agent to hydroxyl groups of the polyester resin in the composition is from 2.5 to 5. The present invention further relates to a method for producing said powder coating composition, to the use of said powder coating composition for architectural powder coating, and to a powder coating obtained by applying and curing said powder coating composition.

摘要: The present application discloses a fireproof coating material, and belongs to the technical field of fireproof coatings. The fireproof coating material includes 40-80 parts of an aqueous curing agent, 20-50 parts of water and 80-200 parts of a mother liquor of the fireproof coating material, wherein the mother liquor of the fireproof coating material consists of 50-80 parts of a flame retardant, 15-25 parts of a dispersant and 190-220 parts of water. The flame retardant used can not only effectively improve the problems of poor compatibility and mixing uniformity of a flame retardant with an aqueous latex in the existing fireproof coating material, but also can utilize O and H contained in a flame retardant system to form a carbonized layer during dehydration to isolate oxygen, preventing combustion, and enhancing the fire retardant performance.

摘要: A method of sealing surface imperfections on a sanded surface of a repair to a vehicle body is provided that includes an uncured layer of a formulation being applied to sanded cured body filler on the vehicle body. The formulation includes a polyester resin, a crosslinking agent, a solvent, and a particulate filler. The uncured layer is exposed to actinic radiation to induce cure of the uncured layer to form a sealing coating. The resulting seal coating has able to seal surface imperfections. A surface imperfection sealing formulation is also provided that includes a polyester resin and a multifunctional crosslinking agent. A solvent is provided. A photoinitiator renders the formulation curable upon exposure to ultraviolet light exposure. A particulate filler is also present in an amount to result in a formulation with an uncured viscosity of between 2600 and 3000 centipoises.

摘要: A disinfectant composition that is capable of inactivating non-enveloped viruses as well as other microorganisms, such as gram negative and gram positive bacteria, fungi, parasites, enveloped viruses, etc., is provided. Through selective control over the nature of the acid(s) employed and the overall pH level, the present inventors have discovered that the composition can achieve rapid antiviral efficacy, particularly against non-enveloped viruses. Once applied to a surface (e.g., hard surface), the disinfectant composition forms a film that remains capable of providing residual antiviral activity. Notably, the present inventors have discovered that the use of a vinylpyrrolidone copolymer in combination with a polyquaternary ammonium polymer and cationic surfactant can have a synergistic effect on the stability of the film such that it can also achieve long-term, residual antiviral activity.

摘要: The present invention relates to the technical field of varnishes for protecting security documents, such as banknotes, against premature detrimental influence of soil and/or moisture upon use and time. In particular, the present invention provides a hybrid UV-LED radiation curable protective varnish comprising:
a) from about 60 wt-% to about 85 wt-% of either a cycloaliphatic epoxide, or a mixture of a cycloaliphatic epoxide and one or more cationically curable monomers other than the cycloaliphatic epoxide;
b) from about 3 wt-% to about 15 wt-% of one or more radically curable monomers and/or oligomers;
c) from about 1 wt-% to about 6 wt-% of a diaryl iodonium salt;
d) from about 0.5 wt-% to about 3 wt-% of a free radical photoinitiator selected from the group consisting of alpha-hydroxyketones, alpha-alkoxyketones, benzyl diketals, benzoin ethers, phosphine oxides, phenylglyoxylates, and mixtures thereof;
e) from about 0.01 wt-% to about 5 wt-% of a non-ionic surfactant; and
f) a photosensitizer of general formula (I)
wherein the weight percents are based on the total weight of the hybrid UV-LED radiation curable protective varnish.
