摘要: The present application discloses a backlight module for a display apparatus. The backlight module for a display apparatus includes a light guide plate; and a light transmittance control layer on the light guide plate configured to receive light from the light guide plate and modulate light intensity of the light from the light guide plate. The light transmittance control layer includes a light transmittance control material having a variable light transmissivity. Light transmittance in a plurality of regions of the light transmittance control layer is individually controllable.

摘要: An anti-peep structure, a method for manufacturing an anti-peep structure, and a display device are provided. The anti-peep structure includes a substrate made of a first material having a first refractive index, the substrate including a light incident surface and a light outgoing surface disposed opposite to each other, where a plurality of grooves are disposed in the substrate at a side of the light incident surface or the light outgoing surface; a second material having a second refractive index disposed in the plurality of grooves; and a refractive index regulating component configured to control the second refractive index; where a viewing angle at the light outgoing surface is determined by a difference between the first refractive index and the second refractive index.

摘要: A display panel having a plurality of subpixels. Each of the plurality of subpixels includes a first light emitting portion and a second light emitting portion. The display panel includes a black matrix on a base substrate. The black matrix defines a plurality of subpixel apertures. The first light emitting portion is outside the plurality of subpixel apertures. The second light emitting portion is in a respective one of the plurality of subpixel apertures. An orthographic projection of the black matrix on the base substrate covers an orthographic projection of the first light emitting portion of each of the plurality of subpixels on the base substrate, and is substantially non-overlapping with an orthographic projection of the second light emitting portion of each of the plurality of subpixels on the base substrate. The first light emitting portion includes a plurality of electronic ink microcapsules.
