Abstract: Calculation is performed to provide a delay and attenuated oscillation to a blowing pressure detected by a blowing pressure sensor which detects blowing pressure, and a musical sound is generated based on the blowing pressure subjected to the calculation. As a result, for example, a blowing feeling of an electronic wind instrument can be made closer to a blowing feeling of a natural musical instrument.

Abstract: A musical sound generation device including a blowing pressure sensor which detects a blowing pressure, a key switch which specifies a sound pitch of a musical sound, a first sound source which outputs a first signal corresponding to an exhalation sound, a second sound source which outputs a second signal corresponding to the musical sound having the sound pitch specified by the key switch, and a processor which starts output of the first signal by the first sound source on basis of an operation performed on the key switch, starts output of the second signal by the second sound source on basis of the blowing pressure, and controls a sound volume when the exhalation sound resulting from the first signal is emitted and a sound volume when the musical sound resulting from the second signal is emitted, on basis of the blowing pressure.
