Abstract: An oral care implement comprises a head with a plurality of cleaning elements, and a light source incorporated into or adjacent the head. The light source is incorporated prior to the attachment of the cleaning elements for ease of manufacturing and a cost-effective assembly. The cleaning elements are preferably pre-formed and attached to the head after the incorporation of the light source so that the provision of the light source does not require any post-processing that might impair the integrity of the head or cleaning elements.

Abstract: A reaction and delivery implement that includes a handle configured for user manipulation, a head having a plurality of agent housing regions, the first agent housing region housing a first agent and the second agent housing region housing a second agent, the first and second agents being different. The head is configured to facilitate both prevention of intermixing of the first and second agents in a storage position as well as reaction of the first and second agents through intermixing in a delivery position so as to produce and apply a third agent to a contacted surface when in the delivery position. The reaction and delivery implement may be an oral care implement such as a toothbrush. The implement may also be motorized and may be used with a wide array of reactions.

Abstract: An oral care implement comprises a head with a plurality of cleaning elements, the head comprising a chamber. The oral care implement may include a reflective or refractive membrane positioned within the chamber. A light source may also be positioned within the chamber such that light from the light source is directed at the reflective or refractive membrane. The oral care implement may also include a head plate with a plurality of tooth cleaning elements coupled thereto, the head plate positioned over the chamber. The light from the light source may be emitted through the head plate. In some embodiments the oral care implement may be a toothbrush. In other embodiments the oral care implement may be non-toothbrush type implements that include a body forming a chamber within which the lighting components are positioned.

Abstract: An oral care implement comprises a head with a plurality of cleaning elements, the head comprising a chamber.
