Abstract:
An external light source with a blinking period serving as a flicker occurrence factor can be reliably and quickly detected under any imaging environment from among a plurality of different external light sources with blinking periods. When a frame period where the phase of an imaging frame coincides with the blinking period of an external light source at a predetermined frame interval is to be set as a frame period for flicker detection, a frame period where the phase of an imaging frame coincides with the blinking periods of a plurality of different external light sources at different frame intervals is set as a frame period for flicker detection. Then, by judging at which frame interval the brightness of a plurality of frame images sequentially captured with the frame period is being changed, it is judged which light is a flicker occurrence factor.

Abstract:
A detection method includes image acquisition processing for acquiring an image; white balance adjustment processing for adjusting a white balance of the image which is acquired in the image acquisition processing; control processing for controlling adjustment content of the white balance in the white balance adjustment processing, on the basis of a specific color serving as a reference; and detection processing for detecting a portion satisfying a predetermined condition relevant to the specific color from the acquired image in which the white balance has not adjusted, on the basis of the image in which the white balance has been adjusted by the adjustment content of the white balance controlled in the control processing.
Abstract:
An image capture apparatus according to the present invention includes: sequentially estimating a photographic scene; sequentially setting, based on the photographic scene sequentially estimated, a photographic scene that serves as a basis for judging a photographic condition; sequentially displaying, based on the photographic scene sequentially set, scene identification information indicating the photographic scene being set; and controlling, for each photographic scene, an update condition for determining an update timing of the photographic scene set by the scene setting unit or an update timing of the photographic scene displayed by the scene display unit, so that, with this configuration, it is possible to preferably set a timing or a condition relating to setting.
Abstract:
An image processing apparatus includes an image acquire unit that acquires an image in which at least one element in a first color space has linear characteristics; and a processor. The processor is configured to adjust a white balance of the image which is acquired by the image acquire unit; control the adjustment content of the white balance, on the basis of a specific color serving as a reference; convert each of a plurality of portions in the image in which the white balance has been controlled by the adjustment content of the white balance, into one element in a second color space; and apply predetermined image processing to the acquired image in which the white balance has not been adjusted, by using the converted information.
Abstract:
An imaging apparatus equipped with a flicker detection function includes an image sensor of a rolling shutter type, calculates a Fourier spectrum including an amplitude and a phase for each of two captured images acquired by the image sensor of the rolling shutter type and having different imaging timings by performing Fourier spectrum analysis based on a flicker period serving as a detection target, and judges that flicker with the flicker period serving as the detection target has occurred, when the amplitude of a calculated Fourier spectrum and the phases of the two Fourier spectrums satisfy predetermined conditions.
Abstract:
In the present invention, when a backlash control operation is being performed, the position of a zoom lens at the time of image capturing and the captured image are stored in association with each other. Subsequently, an image processing section trims the periphery of the captured image in accordance with the focal length of a target position (WIDE end) and the focal length of the position of the zoom lens associated with the captured image, and enlarges the trimmed image to a normal size (size for use in a live view or a size of the image before being trimmed). Then, a display section displays the image subjected to the image processing as a live view image.
