摘要： A method for correcting I/Q imbalance in a received signal is disclosed. The method includes the steps of grouping (202) the received signal into a predetermined number of clusters, and determining (204) at least one coefficient value by feeding the predetermined number of clusters into a nested loop. The method further includes computing (206) a compensation value based on the at least one coefficient value, and correcting (208) the I/Q imbalance in the received signal by using the compensation value.

摘要： An apparatus and method for reducing FM audio artifacts in a receiver are provided. A direct conversion radio frequency (RF) receiver converts an analog FM signal into a phase shifted digital low IF signal. A digital controller coupled to the analog FM receiver provides adaptive frequency translation for different channel spacing and provides adaptive low IF configuration through the different channel spacing, thereby suppressing audio artifacts.

摘要： A method and apparatus for receiving and playing a signal in a radio receiver to suppress microphonic feedback are provided by alternately pitch shifting a received audio signal. The pitch of the received audio signal is alternately shifted up and then down, repeatedly over successive intervals of the audio signal, to produce a pitch swing signal which is then played over a speaker. The alternating pitch shifting prevents the buildup of regenerative feedback normally caused by acoustic vibrations coupling into the radio receiver.
