Abstract: The present disclosure provides an intermediate composition (e.g., an aqueous slurry) for the formulation of a tooth whitening strip comprising a hydratable adhesive film, wherein the intermediate composition comprises an inorganic salt of peroxymonosulfate, preferably an alkali metal salt or alkaline earth metal salt, or mixtures thereof, and methods of using the same and making the tooth whitening strip.
