Abstract: Radiating elements include a first dipole radiator that extends along a first axis, the first dipole radiator including a first pair of dipole arms that are configured to resonate at a first frequency and a second pair of dipole arms that are configured to resonate at a second frequency that is different than the first frequency. Each dipole arm in the first pair of dipole arms comprises a plurality of widened sections that are connected by intervening narrowed sections.

Abstract: A dipole antenna includes a planar reflector and a radiating element. The radiating element includes first and second pairs of dipoles on a surface of the planar reflector. The first and second pairs of dipoles respectively include arm segments arranged around a central region in a box dipole arrangement. The arm segments may be printed circuit board portions having respective metal segments and respective inductor-capacitor circuits thereon. The inductor-capacitor circuits define a filter aligned to a frequency range higher than an operating frequency range of the first and second pairs of dipoles.

Abstract: Base station antennas include a reflector, a first array of cross-polarized radiating elements that are mounted to extend forwardly from the reflector, and a parasitic assembly. The parasitic assembly includes a base that is mounted on the reflector, a horizontal component shaping element, and a forwardly projecting member that projects forwardly from the base that is coupled between the base and the horizontal component shaping element. The horizontal component shaping element may extend substantially parallel to a plane defined by the reflector and may include a proximate side that is directly connected to the forwardly projecting member and a distal side that is opposite the proximate side. The distal side of is only electrically connected to the reflector through the proximate side.
