Abstract: A gas sensor includes a measurement chamber, a reference gas chamber, a first cell, and a second cell. The first cell includes a first electrode in the measurement chamber and a second electrode in the reference gas chamber. The second cell includes a third electrode in the measurement chamber and a fourth electrode in the reference gas chamber. A gas sensor detects a first current that flows between the first electrode and the second electrode, detects a second current that flows between the third electrode and the fourth electrode, calculates a concentration of a specific gas component based on a detected value of the second current, estimates a change amount of oxygen concentration in the reference gas chamber based on a detected value of the first current, and corrects the detected value of the second current based on an estimated value of the change amount of the oxygen concentration.

Abstract: A circuit fixing member is provided which achieves a connection with a controlled object after a circuit module is produced, thereby avoiding disconnection of a wire member in the course of the production, easy to transfer between production processes, and is designed to avoid the entry of water into the circuit module. The terminal-embedded portion 110 of the circuit fixing member 10 which retains the control circuit 15 is equipped with a plurality of circuit supports 111 and the space 115 which communicates at an end thereof with the opened terminal insertion hole 117 and is closed at the other end thereof. For engaging the terminal fitting portion 130 of the terminal member 13 with the fitting portion 200 of the controlled object side terminal member 20 within the space 115, the terminal locking opening 114 and the terminal locking member 14 are provided. The terminal locking member 14 works to secure the locked portion 201 in the space 115.

Abstract: A gas concentration detector includes a gas sensor and an abnormality detecting section. The gas sensor includes a single solid electrolyte body having oxygen ion conductivity and electrodes formed on both surfaces of the single solid electrolyte body. The abnormality detecting section is configured to apply an AC voltage to a specific one of the electrodes and concurrently measure currents flowing respectively between the specific electrode and each of the other electrodes through the solid electrolyte body, and determine that at least one of wires respectively connected to the corresponding electrodes is broken if at least one of the measured currents is smaller than a predetermined value.
