Abstract: Hydrosilylation (addition) curable heat stabilised silicone rubber compositions, silicone rubber elastomers made upon cure of the compositions and their applications and uses are disclosed. The heat stabiliser additives utilised in the compositions comprise one or more of dodecanedioic acid, bis[2-(2-hydroxybenzoyl)hydrazide], 1,2-di[-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionyl]hydrazine, metal or non-metal phthalocyanine complexes, salicyloylaminotriazole, triazole, benzotriazole, dilauryl 3,3′-thiodipropionate, ditridecyl 3,3′-thiodipropionate, diphenyl sulfide, and/or pentaerythritol beta-laurylthiopropionate.
