    Abstract: Disclosed herein is an apparatus and method for controlling a power generation type solar shutter, including: storing a control condition and an operation corresponding to the control condition; detecting that an event occurs; and if the event satisfies the control condition, controlling the solar shutter that performs a charging function for a vehicle based on the operation corresponding to the control condition, wherein the control condition includes at least one selected from the group consisting of: humidity, rain, snow, light, a driving state, the remaining battery charge, seasons, latitude, and a usage level of a heater and/or an air conditioner.
