Abstract: The present invention provides a tethersonde system and an observation method thereby. The tethersonde system comprises a balloon, a radiosonde observing weather while being carried aloft by the balloon and transmitting weather data including position information, a ground receiver receiving and analyzing the weather data and determining wind direction and speed of the atmospheric layer using the position information, and a connection line connecting the ground receiver and the radiosonde and being wound or unwound to control an observation point of the radiosonde.

An analysis apparatus receives a condition for building retrofit, and selects detailed measures of one or more Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) for a building based on the condition. The analysis apparatus selects a maximum of one detailed measure from among multiple detailed measures of each of the one or more ECMs. The analysis apparatus provides one or more ECM determination schemes, which include an energy savings-based ECM determination scheme and a cost-based ECM determination scheme.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for compensating for duty signals are disclosed herein. The apparatus for compensating for duty signals includes a signal input unit, a signal control unit, a combined signal control unit, a determination unit, and a signal output unit. The signal input unit receives a first signal and a second signal. The signal control unit controls the timing of the first and second signals based on first and second control signals, and outputs a combined signal. The combined signal control unit outputs first and second logic operation signals. The determination unit generates the first and second control signals if the timing of the first signal does not match the timing of the second signal, outputs the generated first and second control signals, and applies a third control signal to the combined signal control unit. Abstract: An M-ary Phase Shift Keying (MPSK) demodulation apparatus and method are disclosed herein. The MPSK demodulation apparatus includes an amplifier, a carrier frequency recoverer, a plurality of correlators, and a symbol detector. The amplifier amplifies a received signal. The carrier frequency recoverer recovers a carrier frequency from the received signal, and generates a plurality of signals having a set phase difference. Each of the plurality of correlators outputs a signal, maintained at a set signal level for a specific period of time, using the received signal and the plurality of signals. The symbol detector collects the output signals of the plurality of correlators, and detects a received symbol by comparing the absolute value magnitudes of the collected output signals.
