Abstract: A shield can have situated thereon a charger to charge an electrical vehicle, the shield including a panel comprising a body portion formed of a first material and a coating apparatus that is formed of a second material different than the first material, the coating apparatus being applied to at least one of the front surface and the rear surface. The shield can protect a wall to which the charger is mounted for the charging electrical. The shield can be combined with an electrical receptacle box to form a protector.

Abstract: A splice plate for a cable tray facilitates proper longitudinal spacing between first and second cable tray sections. The splice plate may include spacing indicia that indicates to a user longitudinal spacing between the longitudinal ends of the first and second cable tray sections when the splice plate is fastened to the first and second cable tray sections. The splice plate may include a window that allows at least one of the longitudinal ends of the respective first and second cable tray sections to be visible when the splice plate is fastened to the first and second cable tray sections. The splice plate may include a machine readable marking including a machine readable representation of a web address that directs a hand-held device including a processor to a webpage including instructions for using the splice plate.

Abstract: A charging apparatus is mountable to another structure and to be electrically connected with a source of electrical power. It includes a housing, a cable apparatus, and an electrical apparatus electrically connected with the source of electrical power to provide electrical power to an electric vehicle. The electrical apparatus can include a circuit interrupter apparatus including a circuit interrupter situated within an interior of the housing. The housing can include a retaining portion that protrudes outwardly from a perimeter of a base portion of the housing and is structured to retain at least a portion of the cable between the retaining portion and another structure to which the charging apparatus is mounted when the cable is at least in part wrapped about the perimeter.

Abstract: A pedestal has two sides that are opposite one another and to which various charging boxes can be mounted and electrically connected. For instance, the pedestal can have the same charging boxes mounted to the two sides and electrically connected with a power system upon which the pedestal is positioned. Instead, two different charging boxes can be mounted to the two sides. Importantly, either or both charging boxes can be easily removed by appropriate personnel and alternatively replaced with other charging boxes if, for instance, the market for needing specific electrical charging has changed or if the population of electrical vehicles needing electrical charging has grown in a new direction, by way of example.
