Abstract: The present invention is directed to compositions that include: (a) about 0.1 to about 55 wt-% of an alkyl ether amine composition of the formula (Ia):R1nullOnullR2nullNHnullAnullnull(Ia)wherein A is hydrogen or R3NH2, R is a C6-C28 fatty aliphatic group, and R2 and R3 are each independently a C1-C8 alkylene; an alkyl diamine compound of formula (Ib):RNCH2CH2CH2NH2nullnull(Ib)wherein R is C6-C20 alkyl; or a mixture thereof (b) about 0.1 to about 55 wt-% of propoxylated or mixed alkoxylated quaternary ammonium compound of the formula (II) 1 wherein R4, R5, R6, and R7 are each independently hydrogen, C1-C10 alkyl, or C1-C10 alkoxy, such that at least two of R4, R5, R6, and R7 are a C1-C10 alkyl, or at least one of R4, R5, R6, and R7 are a C1-C10 alkoxy; and X includes an anion; (c) a stabilizer including a neutralizing acid and a nonionic surfactant; and (d) water. The present invention is also directed to methods of drying and polishing a vehicle surface by using the vehicle care composition.
