摘要： An optical disc (1) is provided with: a disc substrate (110); an information track (102, G) formed on the disc substrate spirally or coaxially around a center of the disc substrate, on which an information signal including a physical sector number is to be recorded; and a guide track (102, L) adjacent to the information track and formed on the disc substrate spirally or coaxially around the center, on which a guide signal including address information is to be recorded, wherein a readable emboss area, in which the information signal is recorded by an emboss pit, and an unreadable emboss area, in which an unreadable emboss pit to disable writing and reading the information signal, are formed on the information track, and the guide signal is not recorded on the guide track corresponding to the readable emboss area and the guide signal is recorded on the guide track corresponding to the unreadable emboss area.

摘要： An information recording medium includes: a first recording layer to for recording first information; and one or a plurality of second recording layers, disposed on the first recording layer, for recording second information. Each recording layer has a predetermined area in which power calibration is performed to detect an optimum recording power of laser light for recording, which is transmitted through the first recording layer and other layers of the second recording layers, the first recording layer, the other layers of the second recording layers, and each of the second recording layers arranged in this order as viewed from an irradiation side of the laser light, and in a facing area, which faces the predetermined area, in the other layers of the second recording layers and the first recording layer, by forming embossed pits.

Provided herein are a recording medium on which a plurality of contents and reproduction-enabled time which is a period of time for allowing a user to freely reproduce the plurality of contents as a whole are recorded, a reproduction device having an acquisition unit which acquires the reproduction-enabled time and a reproduction inhibit unit which inhibits the reproduction of each of the contents when the accumulated reproduction time of the plurality of contents as a whole exceeds the acquired reproduction-enabled time during the reproduction of each of the contents.
