Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for encoding a displacement video using image tiling. A method for encoding multi-dimensional data according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may comprise: converting the multi-dimensional data into one or more frames with two-dimensional characteristics; generating one or more frame groups by grouping the one or more frames with pre-configured number units; reconstructing frames belonging to each frame group into a tiled frame; and generating a bitstream by encoding the tiled frame. Here, the tiled frame may be constructed with one or more blocks, and each block may be constructed by rearranging pixels existing at the same location in the frames.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a color correction apparatus for panorama video stitching and a method of selecting a reference image using the same. A method of selecting a reference image for color correction when stitching panorama video based on input images includes selecting an optimum reference image candidate from the input images based on standard deviations for overlapping regions between the input images, performing color correction on the input images based on the optimum reference image candidate, and validating the optimum reference image candidate based on the color-corrected input images.

A method of receiving content in a client is provided. The method may include receiving, from a server, a spatial set identifier (ID) corresponding to a tile group including at least one tile, sending, to the server, a request for first content corresponding to metadata, and receiving, from the server, the first content corresponding to the request.
Abstract:
The present specification is related to a method for performing multi-projection and a multi-projection system for minimizing a black offset in a multi-projection environment. The present specification provides the method for performing multi-projection comprising estimating the intensity transfer function (ITF) of a plurality of projectors, calculating an optimal black offset threshold for each of the projectors by using each of the ITFs, and applying the optimal black offset threshold to an image projection by each of the projectors.
Abstract:
There is provided an image processing apparatus and method. The image processing apparatus comprises: receiving a first source image and a second source image from multiple image sources, receiving geometric information required for stitching the first source image and the second source image and synthesizing an image from the first source image and the second source image on the basis of the geometric information, wherein the geometric information includes seam information used to specify a overlapping region between the first source image and the second source image.
Abstract:
A stitching method of a captured image is disclosed. The stitching method includes capturing a plurality of images having different viewing angles, setting a feature point extraction region on the plural images, extracting a plurality of feature points from a plurality of objects in the set region, extracting a combination line connecting corresponding feature points based on the plural extracted feature points, outputting the extracted combination line, and combining the plural images based on the extracted combination line. Accordingly, the stitching method provides an effective and high-quality stitched image.
