Abstract:
An electronic device for performing avatar migration between metaverse platforms (MPs) and an operating method of the electronic device are disclosed. The operating method includes transmitting, by a first MP, first data for a first avatar registered in the first MP to a second MP that is different from the first MP and determining, by the second MP, a second avatar to be used in the second MP based on the first data.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method of operating a peer-to-peer (P2P) network management system, the method including generating a peer list in response to a request for the peer list from a request peer and sending a request for piece information corresponding to the peer list to a peer activity management server, the peer activity management server being configured to manage peer status information, receiving the piece information generated based on the peer status information from the peer operation server, generating a response message including the piece information and the peer list, and sending the response message to the request peer.
Abstract:
A digital signage system and a method of providing information using the digital signage system are disclosed. The digital signage terminal includes an emergency detection unit, an emergency detection message generation unit, a communication unit, and an emergency alert message processing unit. The emergency detection unit collects the surrounding emergency-related information of the digital signage terminal. The emergency detection message generation unit generates an emergency detection message including the collected emergency-related information. The communication unit transmits the generated emergency detection message to a digital signage server, and receives an emergency alert message including an emergency alert corresponding to an emergency situation from the digital signage server. The emergency alert message processing unit parses the emergency alert message, and provides the emergency alert included in the emergency alert message to a user.
Abstract:
A peer-to-peer network system provides at least one peer with information for configuration of a peer-to-peer network to optimize the configuration of the peer-to-peer network by using at least one of information about a status of the at least one peer, information about a status of an underlying network and information about a user in respect of services.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and apparatus for transmitting artificial intelligence-based data by using a distributed network. An operating method of a first agent includes transmitting a key frame of an input video received from a first client corresponding to the first agent to a second agent and receiving, from the first client, key points extracted from the input video as features for every frame after the key frame and transmitting the received key points to the second agent. The first agent and the second agent communicate through a distributed network.
Abstract:
A peer may receive a peer list from a hybrid overlay management server in response to an overlay network participation request of the peer, may select a first peer from the received peer list, may establish a connection with the selected first peer, and may establish a connection with at least one of second peers. Propagation of the overlay network participation request may be initiated by the selected first peer, and each of the second peers may correspond to a peer that receives the propagated overlay network participation request. One of the established connections may be determined as a primary path, and a communication may be performed through the primary path.
Abstract:
A resource allocation method of an overlay management server (OMS) is disclosed. The resource allocation method may include transmitting, to a cache server (CS), a remote peer list determined based on a network distance between each of peers and the CS, receiving, from the CS, a peer list including an identifier of a peer receiving contents from the CS in response to the identifier of the peer being included in the remote peer list, and selecting another CS for the peer in response to the peer list being received.
Abstract:
A method of collecting peer-to-peer (P2P)-based content sending/reception information is disclosed herein. In the method of collecting P2P-based content sending/reception information, a first peer accesses a second peer, and exchanges buffer maps with the second peer. The first peer requests the second peer to send a piece of content not owned by the first peer. When the reception of the piece of the content is completed, the first peer generates a receipt message and then signs the receipt message. The first peer sends the signed receipt message to the second peer. The second peer signs the signed receipt message again. The second peer sends the dually signed receipt message to a server.
Abstract:
A digital display terminal, a contents server, and a method of transmitting and receiving content are disclosed. In the method, notification of a content distribution plan, including information about an ID of the specific content, overlay network ID information for the specific content, and an address of a tracker server function unit, is received from the contents server or another terminal within the overlay network. A list of terminals, included in the overlay network identified by the overlay network ID information, or a list of terminals, managed by the tracker server function unit identified by the address of the tracker server function unit, is received from the contents server or the other terminal. Held content information, indicating whether or not the specific content is held, is received from one or more of the terminals within the list, and the specific content is received from the one or more terminals.
Abstract:
Provided is an operation method of a receiving entity, the method including setting a session with a sending entity based on bootstrap information; transmitting a signaling message corresponding to a media delivery request to the sending entity through the session; receiving media data from the sending entity through the session; and transmitting a signaling message corresponding to a media delivery control request to the sending entity through the session while receiving the media data.
