摘要: Some embodiments provide a novel method for deploying different virtual networks over several public cloud datacenters for different entities. For each entity, the method (1) identifies a set of public cloud datacenters of one or more public cloud providers to connect a set of machines of the entity, (2) deploys managed forwarding nodes (MFNs) for the entity in the identified set of public cloud datacenters, and then (3) configures the MFNs to implement a virtual network that connects the entity's set of machines across its identified set of public cloud datacenters. In some embodiments, the method identifies the set of public cloud datacenters for an entity by receiving input from the entity's network administrator. In some embodiments, this input specifies the public cloud providers to use and/or the public cloud regions in which the virtual network should be defined. Conjunctively, or alternatively, this input in some embodiments specifies actual public cloud datacenters to use.

The processor receives a request signal transmitted from a user terminal, collects status data for each of a plurality of servers within the server system, determines whether the user terminal is capable of accessing the server system, based on the collected status data, and controls transmission of the request signal to the server system based on the determined result.

摘要: A system and method for determining performance of connections between an endpoint device and a Cloud region is disclosed. A Cloud based host server communicates with the endpoint device operated by a user through a network. A data collection module is coupled to the Cloud server and the endpoint device. The data collection module periodically collects connection data associated with the endpoint device and collects context data of the endpoint device. An analysis engine compares a connection data metric derived from the connection data to a baseline value of the connection data metric associated with the context data of the endpoint device and determines substandard performance. The analysis engine provides an alert when a substandard performance is determined.

A remote fleet management graphical user interface (GUI) can display a portion of the monitoring or status information for a subset of the fleet of edge devices, based on a user selection input, and can receive a user configuration input indicative of an updated configuration for at least one workload corresponding to a pre-trained ML or AI model deployed on the at least one edge compute unit. A cloud computing environment can transmit control information corresponding to the updated configuration to the at least one edge compute unit.

摘要: Some embodiments provide a method of implementing capacity-aware load balancing across a set of data compute nodes (DCNs) by reducing latency for the set of DCNs. From the set of DCNs, the method identifies (1) a first subset of DCNs including DCNs that have a latency that is higher than an average latency computed for the set of DCNs and (2) a second subset of DCNs including DCNs that have a latency that is lower than the average latency computed for the set of DCNs. For each DCN in the first subset of DCNs, the method assigns to the DCN a weight value that corresponds to a target latency computed for the set of DCNs. Based on the assigned weight values for the first subset of DCNs, the method computes an excess weight value to be redistributed across the second subset of DCNs. The method redistributes the computed excess weight value across the second subset of DCNs.

摘要: A system comprises control circuitry that is operable to assign a first of a plurality of computing devices to serve file system requests destined for any of a first plurality of network addresses; assign a second of the computing devices to serve file system requests destined for any of a second plurality of network addresses; maintain statistics regarding file system requests sent to each of the first plurality of network addresses and the second plurality of network addresses; and reassign, based on the statistics, the first of the computing devices to serve file system requests destined for a selected one of the second plurality of network addresses.

摘要: Apparatuses and methods for data traffic management in multi-source content delivery are described. The apparatus includes a downloader and a controller. The downloader is coupled to servers via communication links. The controller is configured to determine initial download requests for the servers based on predetermined information about a quality of the links. The controller is also configured to send the initial download requests to the servers with the downloader. The controller is further configured to update the information about the quality of the communication links after the downloader receives data associated with a data file from the servers via the communication links. The controller is also configured to determine subsequent download requests for the servers based on the updated information about the quality of the communication links. The controller of further configured to send the subsequent download requests to the servers via the downloader.
