Abstract: A differential gear is disclosed in which neither the clutching device which connects the output elements to a bearing block, which is set rotating by means of a drive element, nor the output elements, include a toothed rim. Each of the two output elements is provided with one connecting link having connecting points which lie eccentrically to the axis of rotation of the output element and which connect with the clutching device. The clutching device includes a coupling link, which is mounted in the bearing block so as to rotate around an axis, which extends perpendicularly to the axis of rotation of the bearing block between the two output elements.

One or a plurality of double-acting pistons having eccentric piston shafts are guided in cylindrical combustion or working chambers of a machine housing. By means of a driving joint mechanism, the pistons translate along and pivot about their longitudinal axes in oscillatory movements to either drive or be driven by an output shaft.

Abstract: A piston-type power generating machine, useful as a prime mover, internal combustion engine, pump or the like, is disclosed wherein a piston having an eccentric center of gravity with respect to its longitudinal axis is reciprocatingly guided in a cylindrical working chamber of a machine housing.
