    摘要： A battery compartment assembly includes a housing and a lid configured to be removably attached to the housing. The lid includes a pair of hinges that engage a corresponding pair of openings in the housing, and a latch that engages a ridge on the housing when the lid is in the closed position. The lid also includes a pair of contacts that extend from the lid to mate with connectors of a control unit to be powered by the batteries in the assembly. A spring is included in the housing for connecting to a positive terminal of a first battery and a negative terminal of a second battery.

    摘要： A fluid filter assembly for a water dispensing faucet includes a housing assembly that is constructed and arranged to connect to a water dispensing faucet, a cover assembly that is threadedly attachable to the housing assembly for defining an interior receiving space therebetween and a replaceable filter cartridge installed into the receiving space and being constructed and arranged for filtering a flow of water before that water is delivered to the dispensing faucet. A plurality of reed switches are utilized that are responsive to changes in magnetic flux in order to provide electronic indications of filter status. Some of these electronic indications include the filter cartridge status in terms of its useful life, when a non-approved filter cartridge is installed, when there is no filter cartridge installed, when there is a water leak within the fluid filter assembly, and when one used filter cartridge has been replaced by a new filter cartridge.

    摘要： A multi-port diverter valve assembly with an integral detent feature includes a valve body and a diverter valve cartridge and cap combination wherein the cap includes one or more deflectable fingers positioned so as to “detent” into one or more detent recesses formed in a lower cartridge portion of the rotatable cartridge. In order to provide fluid communication to external hydraulic devices with a total of six selection options, a total of six detent recesses are provided. In the preferred embodiment, there are two deflectable fingers approximately 180 degrees apart. An O-ring is positioned between the deflectable fingers and the valve body in order to provide part of the resistance force against the deflectable fingers so as to provide a tactile feel to the user when a selected detent position is reached by rotation of the diverter valve cartridge within the valve body.

The elastomeric bushing has a plurality of axially extending circumferentially spaced apart raised ribs on its outer surface which frictionally engage the inner surface of the spout to reduce the play and wobble of the spray head when it is inserted into the spout.
