Abstract: An anti-siphoning device for use in the tubular fuel filling neck of a vehicle such as a large truck includes a tubular body, which is mounted in the filling neck, resilient fingers on the body for resisting removal of the body from the neck, a plate in the body with a central opening for receiving a fuel dispensing nozzle, vent openings in the plate around the central opening for discharging gases from the fuel tank during a filling operation, a tube extending downwardly from the central opening, and a cage on the bottom end of the tube for preventing insertion of a siphoning tube into the tank.

Abstract: A wheel rim is formed from a cylindrical blank in an apparatus including a female die with a profiled, internal die cavity for receiving the blank and a male die, which includes a pair of shafts with eccentric portions carrying rollers for sequentially bearing against the blank to gradually form a wheel rim. During formation of the wheel rim, the female die, which is mounted on a turntable, is rotated while the male die is stationary. The blank is held between a ring portion of the male die and the central portion of the female die. The shafts carrying the rollers are independently rotatable, so that only one set of rollers actively forms the rim at any time during formation.

Abstract: A machine for producing a corrugated wheel spacer for use between tandem truck wheels includes top and bottom corrugated rollers which are driven in synchronism with an annular spacer blank therebetween to corrugate the blank. The top roller is suspended from a carriage for vertical movement towards and away from the bottom roller so that an annular blank can be placed on the bottom roller when the rollers are spaced apart and the rollers can be moved together to effect a corrugating operation.
