Abstract:
An omnidirectional barcode may include a graphical representation of a one-dimensional barcode wherein the graphical representation of the one-dimensional barcode is extended circumferentially around a three-dimensional (3D) object. A method of forming an omnidirectional barcode may include creating a graphical representation of a one-dimensional barcode and extending the one-dimensional representation in at least one dimension.
Abstract:
A VDP workflow system and method are disclosed. The system includes an image memory to store a photograph image. The system also includes a VDP document tool to access the photograph image from the image memory and to generate a VDP document comprising the photograph image. The system further includes a red-eye removal tool to process the VDP document to discover red-eye artifacts and to remove the red-eye artifacts from the photograph image on the VDP document based on a programmable red-eye sensitivity value.
Abstract:
Examples of methods for fiducial pattern detection are described herein. In some examples, a method may include detecting fiducial pattern subsets in image subsets of an image of an object. In some examples, the method may also include selecting a first image subset that includes a largest first fiducial pattern subset. In some examples, the method may further include extending the first fiducial pattern subset from the first image subset to a neighboring second image subset.
Abstract:
Certain examples described herein relate to the embedding a pattern in an output content having at least two-dimensions, for example a printed output. Content data having at least two dimensions is processed to generate an array of spatial elements, each spatial element corresponding to a respective location in the output content and comprising a probabilistic distribution for a set of output material compositions. A threshold matrix is generated using pattern data corresponding to a pattern, and the array of spatial elements is halftoned using the threshold matrix. The threshold matrix is generated such that the pattern is embedded in the output content.
Abstract:
A method of embedding data in a printed output having at least two-dimensions is described in which content data for the printed output and data to be embedded in the printed output are obtained. An input property value for a content element from the content data is determined. This is used to determine an output value for a probabilistic distribution of a set of output material compositions for a spatial element of the printed output, corresponding to the content element, based on the data to be embedded and the input property value.
