Abstract: In an example in accordance with the present disclosure, a display device is described. The display device includes a display screen to display content. The display device has a first mode and a second mode. A first mode brightness scale, which defines a range of available brightness values for the display screen, is different than a second mode brightness scale. The display device includes a display controller to select a brightness scale for the display device based on a current mode of the display device.
