    Abstract: The application provides a data sending method and a communication apparatus to avoid signaling overheads caused by scheduling by a network device, and a terminal device can flexibly select a quantity of repeated transmissions based on an actual situation, so that data transmission performance is improved. The network device sends configuration information of a receive power to the terminal device. After receiving the configuration information of the receive power, the terminal device determines a quantity of repeated transmissions of target data based on the configuration information of the receive power. After determining the quantity of repeated transmissions of the target data, the terminal device sends the target data to the network device based on the quantity of repeated transmissions of the target data.

    Abstract: A system and method for communicating hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement information, the method including receiving, by a terminal device, a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) that carries a random access response, the random access response including a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource indicator and a PDSCH-to-hybrid automatic repeat request feedback (PDSCH-to-HARQ_feedback) timing indicator, where the PUCCH resource indicator is associated with determination of a frequency domain resource for feeding back HARQ acknowledgement information, and the PDSCH-to-HARQ_feedback timing indicator is associated with determination of a time domain resource for feeding back the HARQ acknowledgement information, and sending, by the terminal device, the HARQ acknowledgement information on the frequency domain resource and the time domain resource, wherein a sending slot is related to an uplink slot corresponding to the last symbol of the PDSCH, an offset indicated by the PDSCH-to-HARQ_feedback timing indicator, and value associated with subcarrier spacing.

    Abstract: This application provides a random access method and an apparatus. The random access method includes: User equipment sends a random access message of a first-type random access procedure to a network device. The random access message of the first-type random access procedure includes a random access preamble and uplink data. The user equipment starts a first time window after the end of the transmission of the random access preamble, and detects first downlink control information (DCI) and second DCI within the first time window. The first DCI is used to schedule a first physical downlink shared channel PDSCH for carrying a first response message to the random access preamble, and the second DCI is used to schedule a second PDSCH for carrying a second response message to the random access message.

    Abstract: An uplink transmission method includes obtaining control information useable for uplink transmission with dynamic scheduling, determining based on information about a first time-frequency resource allocated to the uplink transmission and configuration information of a first reference signal useable for the uplink transmission, a second time-frequency resource useable to send the first reference signal, obtaining first information of a semi-statically configured resource useable for the uplink transmission, and in response to performing the uplink transmission based on the control information, sending, by the communications apparatus on an overlapping time-frequency resource of a second time-frequency resource and a third time-frequency resource, a reference signal generated based on configuration information of a second reference signal or failing to send a signal. The control information includes information about the first time-frequency resource allocated to the uplink transmission and configuration information of the first reference signal useable for the uplink transmission.
