    摘要: An active carbon filter intended for the fuel supply system of the internal combustion engine of a vehicle consists of a housing (1), inside of which flow paths for the different operating states of the filter are established between the ports (10, 11, 12) for connection with the top space of a tank, the ambient atmosphere and the intake manifold of the internal combustion engine. Proceeding from the port (11), these flow paths are characterized by chambers situated one in back of the other for pre-warming the air, an adjacent chamber (22) equipped with a first heating unit, an adjacent chamber (23) that accommodates active carbon particles, and another, adjacent chamber (28) that accommodates active carbon particles, is equipped with a second heating unit (34), and is provided with the ports (10, 12). This yields the establishment of optimal, in particular thermal conditions for the regeneration of the active carbon particles.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for testing the operation of an electric heating element which is used for heating activated carbon of an activated carbon filter and/or air which is guided through the activated carbon for the regeneration thereof. The heating element has a PTC-characteristic (positive temperature coefficient characteristic). The strength of a current flow through the heating element in a heating phase selected for the operational testing is measured at a point in time or over a time period and is used for the operational testing, in that at least one measured current flow value is compared with a corresponding current flow value to be anticipated during defect-free operation of the heating element, and the heating element is considered to be defective in the event of a deviation which exceeds a predetermined measurement.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for testing the operation of an electric heating element which is used for heating activated carbon of an activated carbon filter and/or air which is guided through the activated carbon for the regeneration thereof. The heating element has a PTC-characteristic (positive temperature coefficient characteristic). The strength of a current flow through the heating element in a heating phase selected for the operational testing is measured at a point in time or over a time period and is used for the operational testing, in that at least one measured current flow value is compared with a corresponding current flow value to be anticipated during defect-free operation of the heating element, and the heating element is considered to be defective in the event of a deviation which exceeds a predetermined measurement.A further method in accordance with the invention corresponds to the first-named method, but with the difference that an electric resistor which is not the heating element has a PTC-characteristic. The PTC-resistor is electrically connected to the heating element such that the current flowing through the heating element also flows through the PTC-resistor. The PTC-resistor is disposed in spatial terms adjacent to the heating element in such a manner that the heating element also heats the PTC-resistor.A further method in accordance with the invention corresponds to the second-named method, but with the difference that in any event the heating element serves to heat an air flow provided for the regeneration of the activated carbon and the PTC-resistor is disposed in a spatial relationship with respect to the heating element such that the PTC-resistor is heated by virtue of the fact that the regeneration air flow heats the PTC-resistor.

    摘要: An insert coupling more preferably intended for use with fuel lines consists of a sleeve-like coupling body (2) and a tubular insert part (1) carrying a retaining rib (3) on the outside. Via a coupling element (22) axially fixed in the coupling body (2) on to which engagement hooks (4, 4′) are molded which are intended for engagement with the retaining rib (3), a ring shoulder (23) is formed at the same time which together with a ring shoulder (24) of the housing (8) of the coupling body (2) axially spaced from said ring shoulder and the radially spaced cylindrical faces of the housing (8) facing each other and the insert part (1) define a ring space (11) in which a sealing arrangement consisting of two sealing rings (5, 7) and a support ring (6) arranged in-between are accommodated. As a result of the unambiguous axial fixing of the sealing arrangement in the housing (8) the function of the sealing arrangement is not impaired through the removal of the insert part (1) from the coupling body (2) and through inserting said insert part in the coupling body (2). A simple construction of the insert coupling is obtained in that said coupling factually consists only of three substantial components plus the sealing arrangement and can be employed with insert parts (1) which are smooth-walled except for a retaining rib (3).

    摘要: An insertion coupling which can be used for example for a vacuum line consists of an insertion part and a sleeve part (1), wherein a locking element (5), which can be brought into engagement with a retaining rib of the insertion part, and an actuation element (10) are integrally formed on a housing tab (9) which extends in an arc-shaped manner around a longitudinal axis of the sleeve part (1) and can be elastically deflected radially. A movement of the locking element (5) in a radially outward direction and thus a release of the engaged state between the sleeve part (1) and the insertion part is possible by moving the actuation element (10) in an actuation direction (13). A construction which is particularly simple in design is produced owing to the small number of parts. The sleeve part (1) is provided with a window, by means of which a correct engaged state of the locking element with the retaining rib can be visually checked.

The central introduction of the prefiltered liquid distributed evenly over the length of the rotor system (2) via the distributor lances (35) in conjunction with a network (36) of lines designed to introduce air bubbles into the liquid bath and located in the bottom of the receptacle (1) results in a stable operation that also suppresses the formation of deposits and engenders high and consistent filter efficiency.

The tubular cylinders (17) are fixedly connected to a hollow shaft (18) extending in the direction of the axis (5) for supporting the rotor system (2), this hollow shaft being supported on both ends in bearing units (6, 7) designed as friction bearings which permit a three-dimensional equalization of angle deviations of the axis of the hollow shaft (18). Each filter disk is assembled from segments made of plastic and produced in one piece with coupling pieces as molded parts formed by the injection molding process, so that the axially aligned segments of the filter disks in the state in which they have been placed on the tube cylinders (17) form a continuous filtrate collecting line (23). This yields a design of the rotor system (2) which is structurally simple and permits inexpensive production.
