Abstract: Aspects of workflow-driven hardware component management are disclosed. A workflow is generated for a job to be performed for management of a hardware component. The workflow includes a 3-Dimensional (3D) model of the hardware component. A job identifier may be allocated to a resource person associated with a resource device to provide job-based access rights for performance of the job. Directions are provided to the resource device based on the workflow to indicate actions to be taken for performing the job. The directions may include Augmented Reality images based on the 3D model. The job-based access rights are revoked on completion of the job.
