Abstract: A touch input device according to an embodiment is capable of detecting a pressure of a touch on a touch surface and may include: a display module; and a pressure sensor which is disposed at a position where a distance from a reference potential layer may vary according to the touch for the touch surface, the distance is changeable according to a pressure magnitude of the touch, the pressure sensor may output a signal including information on a capacitance which is changed according to the distance, the pressure sensor may include a plurality of electrodes to form a plurality of channel, and detect the magnitude of the pressure for the touch based on a change amount of a capacitance detected in the each channel and an SNR improvement scaling factor assigned to each of the channels.

Abstract: A touch input device may be provided which includes at least one cover and a display module disposed under the cover, and detects a pressure of a touch input to the cover. The touch input device includes: a housing which includes a bottom plate on which a battery and a mainboard are disposed; and a mid-frame which is disposed within the housing, is disposed under the display module, and is disposed on the battery and on the mainboard. The mid-frame includes a guide member which is disposed on a bottom surface of the mid-frame and is coupled to the bottom plate of the housing.

Abstract: A touch input device may be provided that includes: a first cover layer; a spacer layer; a display panel which includes a first substrate layer and a second substrate layer disposed under the first substrate layer; a first electrode and a second electrode which are disposed between the first substrate layer and the second substrate layer; and a third electrode and a fourth electrode which are disposed on the display panel. At least one of the first electrode and the second electrode is used to drive the display panel. A touch position is detected based on a capacitance which changes as an object approaches a touch sensor including at least one of the first electrode, the second electrode, the third electrode, and the fourth electrode and which is detected from the touch sensor. A touch pressure is detected based on a capacitance which is changed by change of a distance between the object and a pressure sensor including at least one of the first electrode, the second electrode, the third electrode, and the fourth electrode and which is detected from the pressure sensor. The spacer layer is disposed between the first cover layer and the pressure sensor.

Abstract: A method for correcting a touch pressure sensitivity may be provided that includes: a modeling profile data generation step of generating modeling profile data on the basis of a plurality of collected profile data; and a set profile data generation step of generating set profile data on the basis of the modeling profile data and a reference data of a predetermined touch input device. As a result, it is possible to correct the touch pressure sensitivity of a predetermined touch input device such that the touch pressure is sensed with a uniform sensitivity on the entire display surface of the touch input device.

Abstract: A display device having a sensor coupled thereto according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a cover layer; a display panel disposed below the cover layer; an optical layer disposed below the display panel; and an image sensor disposed below the optical layer. The optical layer includes: a microlens array layer including a plurality of microlenses; and an aperture layer which is disposed below the microlens array layer and includes holes each spaced apart from the microlenses by a focal length of the microlens. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a distance from a fingerprint to a fingerprint sensor can be greatly decreased in comparison with a conventional technology. In addition, deterioration of fingerprint image quality due to scattered light can be reduced.

Abstract: A touch input device capable of detecting a pressure of a touch on a touch surface may be provided.
