    摘要： An image forming apparatus for forming an over laid image on a transfer material includes an electrophotographic photosensitive member movable along an endless path, a latent image forming device for forming an electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive member, a developing device for developing the electrostatic latent image with toner, and a transfer device for transferring the toner image onto the transfer material. The latent image forming device includes a controller for changing a latent image forming condition go as to reduce a potential difference between a latent image potential formed in a first rotation of the photosensitive drum at the start of image forming operation and a latent image potential in a subsequent rotation, and a latent image to be developed is formed from the first rotation without pre-rotation effected until the charge potential of the photosensitive member is stabilized.

    摘要： The present invention provides an electrophotographing apparatus for forming a color image of an improved image quality. For the provision of such an apparatus, a plurality of color developing means are arranged in the traveling direction of the electrophotographing member. The length of the traveling direction of the photosensitive member becomes longer, and the dark attenuation characteristics are created. The resultant problems which tend to lower the image quality are solved.In consideration of the dark attenuation characteristics of an electrophotographing photosensitive member, the present invention performs fine color adjustments according to each color of an developing image. In this adjustment, the gradation is corrected, or the color is corrected, per color in accordance with the dark attenuation characteristic.

    摘要： According to the present invention, an image forming apparatus comprises an image forming unit for producing an image on paper, a detector for detecting a plurality of parameters indicating a state of the image forming unit, a corrector for correcting the state of the image forming unit, a rule memory for storing rules for determining the relation between the parameters and the timing of operation of the corrector, and a control for controlling the corrector according to the parameters the detector detects and the rules stored in the memory. Therefore, even a simple configuration permits high-precision control. This reduces a time loss due to the correcting operation, minimizes consumption of development agent, and thus ensures constant gradation all the time.
