Abstract: An inductor arrangement for generating or receiving an electromagnetic field, the inductor arrangement comprising: a flat coil-shaped multi-layer substrate comprising a first conductive layer and a second conductive layer which are separated by an insulating layer, the flat coil-shaped multi-layer substrate being structured to form a planar inductor; and a third conductive layer and a fourth conductive layer deposited on the insulating layer at edges of the structured flat coil-shaped multi-layer substrate, wherein the first conductive layer, the second conductive layer, the third conductive layer and the fourth conductive layer are structured to form a tubular conductive layer, the tubular conductive layer enclosing the flat coil-shaped multi-layer substrate.

Abstract: A transmitter device wirelessly powers at least one receiver device and comprises a power source for providing electric power; and a visualization unit; and at least one coil electrically connected to the power source. The at least one coil is configured to generate an electromagnetic powering field emanating from the at least one coil. The at least one coil is further configured to radiate the electromagnetic powering field towards a volumetric zone for powering at least one receiver device located in the volumetric zone. The visualization unit is configured to provide a visual representation of a characteristic of the electromagnetic powering field radiated towards the volumetric zone.

Abstract: A transmitter device comprises a power source for providing electric power; at least one first coil electrically connected to the power source for generating a first electromagnetic field emanating from the at least one first coil; and a plurality of second coils arranged to form a three-dimensional coil array. The three-dimensional coil array is electromagnetically coupled via the first electromagnetic field to at least one first coil. The three-dimensional coil array is configured to generate a second electromagnetic field emanating from the three-dimensional coil array. The three-dimensional coil array is further configured to radiate the second electromagnetic field towards a volumetric zone for wirelessly powering at least one receiver device located in the volumetric zone.

Abstract: A wireless power transmitter increases uniformity of a generated electromagnetic field distribution in a direction perpendicular to a planar plane and powers at least one electronic device from the generated electromagnetic field. The wireless power transmitter comprises a transmitter coil comprising at least one coil turn for generating an electromagnetic field. At least one coil turn of the transmitter coil extends along a plurality of first linear sections and a plurality of second linear sections electrically connected with each other. The first linear sections are arranged to enclose a planar plane of the transmitter coil and the second linear sections are formed to extend angularly to the planar plane.
