Abstract:
A method for implementing network virtualization, and a related apparatus and a communications system are provided. The method for implementing network virtualization may include: receiving, by an SDN controller, a virtual network creation request that carries virtual network topology information; creating a virtual network in response to the virtual network creation request; establishing, by the SDN controller, a device mapping relationship; establishing, by the SDN controller, a port mapping relationship; allocating, by the SDN controller, a virtual SDN controller to the virtual network; and registering, by the SDN controller, a first virtual forwarding device and a second virtual forwarding device with the virtual SDN controller. Technical solutions of embodiments of the present invention help to improve networking flexibility, reduce service costs, and shorten a service deployment period.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a route calculation method and a master node device in a virtual network element. The method includes: receiving and storing, by the master node, topology information; performing, according to a topology type of the VNE, topology verification for all topology information locally stored on the master node; and calculating, after the topology verification is passed, internal paths in the VNE and weights of the internal paths, generating and storing an internal routing entry, and sending the internal routing entry to nodes except the master node in the VNE. Therefore, in various topology structures, such as a dual-homing tree, a ring, and a half ring, calculation of the internal routes in the VNE and load balancing within the VNE can be implemented.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for receiving information, a method for sending information, and apparatuses for the same. The method for receiving information includes: when a control plane apparatus is capable of managing a forwarding plane apparatus, receiving, by the forwarding plane apparatus, information used for packet forwarding path calculation sent by the control plane apparatus, where the forwarding plane apparatus and the control plane apparatus are located in a network with a network architecture featuring forwarding and control element separation. According to the technical solutions provided in embodiments of the present invention, the forwarding plane apparatus does not need to actively obtain the information used for packet forwarding path calculation before calculating a packet forwarding path based on the information used for packet forwarding path calculation.
