Abstract: The present invention provides an assembly which includes an adapter, an adapter mounting bracket, and sealing elements, where: a mounting position is arranged on the adapter mounting bracket, the adapter is arranged in the mounting position, and two ends of the adapter are each provided with a socket, through which a prefabricated connector of a distribution optical cable and a prefabricated connector of a drop cable are capable of being inserted into the adapter for connection; and the sealing elements are arranged at the sockets at the two ends of the adapter and cooperate with prefabricated connectors inserted into the sockets of the adapter to provide sealing protection for the sockets of the adapter. The fiber distribution assembly has a simple structure and is used conveniently, and can improve the efficiency of fiber distribution operations and convenience of subsequent maintenance and replacement.
