    Abstract: Methods and systems are provided that support the transmission of transport blocks over carrier bundles and bandwidth part (BWP) bundles. These carrier bundles and BWP bundles include physical resources from multiple carriers, the multiple carriers being a proper subset of the carriers configured for a user equipment (UE). A base station transmits an indication to the UE identifying one or more carrier bundles and/or BWP bundles. Each carrier bundle and BWP bundle supports the transmission of a respective transport block over a given duration, and is associated with a respective hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) entity.

    Abstract: This application relates to the field of communications technologies, and discloses a bandwidth indication method and apparatus, to provide a solution of indicating, by a base station, an allocated bandwidth part to a terminal when the terminal does not know a carrier bandwidth. The method is: determining, by the base station, a virtual bandwidth allocated to the terminal, where the virtual bandwidth is a part of a carrier bandwidth, and a bandwidth allocated to the terminal falls within the virtual bandwidth; and sending, by the base station, position information of the virtual bandwidth to the terminal, where the position information is used to indicate a position of the virtual bandwidth.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide methods, devices and systems that limit a number of DCI payload sizes in order to limit the complexity of processing needed to perform blind decoding of the DCI payload. Various embodiments are provided that limit the number of DCI payload sizes. A base station determines the payload sizes to be used for a given time slot and once generated, transmits the DCI to one or more UEs. The UE is responsible for receiving the DCI and performing blind decoding to decode the information intended for the UE. In some embodiments, limiting the number of payload sizes may result in some DCI content that is smaller than the allotted DCI payload size being padded with zero bits to fill the allotted DCI payload size.
